Press Releases

Birmingham, ALThis week, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) will continue her 2022 “Congress in Your Community” Tour, hosting town hall meetings in Lowndes, Wilcox, and Hale Counties. Each year, Sewell hosts a series of town hall meetings in each of the 14 counties that make up her district to give constituents an opportunity to share their views and concerns and hear updates on the latest in Congress.

Congresswoman Sewell will update constituents on American Rescue Plan spending, the federal funding coming to Alabama from President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, voting rights, the situation in Ukraine, and Congress’ ongoing efforts to battle COVID-19. Constituents will have the opportunity to get their questions answered directly by the Congresswoman. Sewell will hold a brief press availability prior to each event.
