Birmingham, AL  On Tuesday, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) welcomed U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland to Birmingham for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. While there, they visited the 16th Street Baptist Church, the A.G. Gaston Motel, and the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.

“We in Alabama’s 7th Congressional District benefit tremendously from funding and support from the Department of the Interior to preserve and protect our rich Civil Rights legacy,” said Rep.
