WASHINGTON, DC – On October 17, Rep. Terri A. Sewell (D-AL) will host a Telephone Town Hall Meeting about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and how to enroll in the health insurance marketplaces. Rep. Sewell and representatives from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Enroll Alabama will take questions regarding the enrollment process.

“This telephone town hall will allow Alabamians to learn more about the benefits of the ACA and the various options that are available to them from the comfort of their own homes,” Sewell said. “The health and well-being of my constituents remains a top priority and this event will assist citizens in making more informed decisions as they enroll in the health insurance marketplace.”

This event is a part of a series of workshops that will be hosted throughout the 7th Congressional district as a part of Rep. Sewell’s initiative to educate Alabamians on the ACA and how it affects them.
