Bringing jobs and opportunities to every corner of our district remains my top priority. Under President Biden, we’ve created over 10.5 million new jobs including 750,000 manufacturing jobs, more than any president’s first two years in history! The national unemployment rate remains near record lows, and while there is work left to do, more Americans are working than at any time in history.

My annual Job Fair is all about connecting jobseekers and employers to ensure that my constituents can take advantage of these openings. Each year we alternate between hosting our Job Fair in urban and rural regions of the district to ensure that the unique needs of each community are met. In 2022, we brought our Job Fair to Wallace Community College in Selma, Alabama, welcoming 300 job seekers and 82 employers from 14 industries.
