BIRMINGHAM, AL – U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) will kick-off her annual Congress in Your Community tour at a town hall meeting in Bessemer Thursday.

The town hall will provide an opportunity for constituents to share their views and concerns with Sewell and hear updates on the latest legislative action in Washington. The town hall will take place at the Bessemer Recreation Center located at 100 14th Street South HWY 150 in Bessemer at 6:00 p.m. The event will be open to the public.

Sewell hosts a Congress in Your Community town hall tour every year, visiting each of the 14 counties in the 7th Congressional District. These meetings serve as a catalyst for meaningful dialogue with constituents, allowing Sewell to connect with residents and address their concerns. Jefferson County will be Sewell’s first stop on the town hall tour in 2019.
