WHO: Congresswoman Terri A. Sewell will participate in a tour of damaged areas in Fairfield led by Fairfield City Mayor Ed May along with local, state and federal officials, as well as members of local community agencies.

BACKGROUND: On June 22, 2017 an EF-1 tornado touched down in Jefferson County, destroying Fairfield and Birmingham buildings. Numerous residential homes and area businesses suffered heavy damage.
