JACKSON, AL –On Monday December 15th, Congresswoman Terri A. Sewell (D-AL) in conjunction with Congressman Bradley Byrne (R-AL) will host a joint town hall meeting. The event will take place in the City of Jackson’s auditorium. Both Rep Sewell and Rep. Byrne represent parts of Clarke County and will come together to provide legislative updates and allow their constituents to share their concerns.

“I am thrilled to continue this tradition which began with former District 1 Congressman Jo Bonner. Despite the gridlock in Washington, I am committed to working with Congressman Byrne to build a strong collaborative partnership to meet the needs of those we serve. Most importantly, this event will serve as a catalyst for dialogue on the issues that matter to our constituents,” Rep. Sewell said.

Congressman Byrne echoed the importance of bipartisan partnership to better serve Clarke County residents.

“The citizens of Clarke County are in the unique position of having two Members of Congress represent them in Washington, and I look forward to joining Congresswoman Sewell for a productive conversation about important issues facing our country. At a time when there is far too much partisan bickering in Washington, I am glad to have such a strong relationship with Congresswoman Sewell as we work to make Southwest Alabama a better place to live, work and raise a family,” Rep. Byrne said.
