SELMA, AL –On Sunday December 14^th, Congresswoman Terri Sewell (D-AL) in conjunction with the Dallas County Office of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, the Tombigbee Healthcare Authority, Enroll Alabama, and Healthy Connections will host an Affordable Care Act (ACA) enrollment event at the Selma Convention Center. During the event, trained counselors will assist with enrollment as well as tips on navigating the health insurance marketplace. If you are already covered through the Marketplace, you can also get help updating your information, reviewing plan options and choosing your plan for 2015. The event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

            “My office is pleased to partner with the Dallas County Office of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, the Tombigbee Healthcare Authority, Enroll Alabama, and Healthy Connections to continue our efforts to educate Alabamians on the benefits of the ACA and the various options available to them,” Rep. Sewell said. “I am also thrilled that these agencies have committed their time to providing various resources to our attendees as we work to ensure that the residents of the 7^th Congressional District get covered.”
