BIRMINGHAM, AL - On Wednesday, August 22, Congresswoman Terri A. Sewell will join EPA officials and state and local lawmakers for a tour of Birmingham’s 35th Avenue site designated for EPA cleanup through the agency’s Superfund program. The tour of the EPA Superfund cleanup will be open to press.

At the start of the tour, Rep. Sewell, Mayor Randall Woodfin, EPA Region 4 Superfund Division Director Franklin Hill, Birmingham City Councilor William Parker, and State Rep. Who:
Rep. Terri Sewell, Mayor Randall Woodfin, Councilor William Parker, State Rep. Mary Moore, and other state and local elected officials will be present for the tour, led by EPA officials. Open to press.

What:
The tour will include one site which has been restored by the EPA’s Superfund program, and one site in which restorations are underway.
