Washington D.C. – Today, ahead of Saturday’s SEC championship game between the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama, U.S. Representatives Terri Sewell (AL-07), David Scott (GA-13), Robert Aderholt (AL-04), and Jody Hice (GA-10) announced a friendly wager on which team will prevail on the gridiron.

When the Alabama Crimson Tide are victorious, Bama fans Reps. Terri Sewell and Robert Aderholt will enjoy Georgia peach preserves and fresh biscuits, Georgia pecan pie from the iconic Mary Mac’s Tea Room in Atlanta, Georgia peanut brittle, and a case of the Coca-Cola products of their choice at the courtesy of Reps. David Scott and Jody Hice.

If the UGA Bulldogs manage to pull off a surprise victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, proud fans Reps. David Scott and Jody Hice will enjoy a lunch of coveted Alabama barbecue, Alabama sweet potato pies and a Bama in a Box shipment of Alabama-made products at the courtesy of Reps. Terri Sewell and Robert Aderholt.

The UGA Bulldogs will meet the Alabama Crimson Tide at Mercedes Benz Stadium for the SEC Championship title and its associated Congressional bragging rights this Saturday, December 4, at 3 p.m. CT.
