Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 3, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (AL-07) will join President Joe Biden as he travels to Alabama to visit a Lockheed Martin facility in Troy. This facility manufactures weapon systems such as Javelin anti-tank missiles which the Biden-Harris Administration is providing to Ukraine and which Ukrainians are using so effectively to defend against the Russian invasion. Sewell will join the President on Air Force One.

“I am thrilled to be joining President Biden as he travels to Alabama to visit Troy’s Lockheed Martin facility which manufactures vital weaponry that we are providing to Ukraine as they bravely defend democracy,” said Rep. Sewell. “Alabama plays a critical role in supporting the defense capabilities of the United States and our allies and I am so excited to showcase the essential work being done right here in our state. My congressional colleagues and I will continue to work with the Biden Administration to support the Ukrainian people and hold Putin accountable for his bloody war.”
