BIRMINGHAM, AL – On Friday, March 7th, Congresswoman Terri A. Sewell (D-AL) will host a “Congress in Your Community” town hall meeting in Pratt City with Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA).  Rep. Waters will join Rep. Sewell to provide a special congressional update to residents of the 7th Congressional District. The town hall meeting is a continuation of Rep. Sewell’s annual “Congress in Your Community” tour that was launched in February and includes stops through the 14 counties of the district.

“I am honored to welcome my colleague, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, to the 7th Congressional District,” Rep. Sewell said.  “As the highest ranking Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee and a 24 year veteran of Congress, Congresswoman Waters will provide a unique perspective on the financial recovery, the housing crisis, predatory lending and the partisan gridlock in Washington. My constituents will definitely benefit from having an opportunity to discuss their issues and concerns with both of us."
